The art of the casual portrait. It can be a moment or more, catching people in their relaxed and comfortable environment. I try not to pose, but talk with you, interact, encourage you to sit naturally and try to capture your personality for a true portrait. People sitting and observing or talking tend to put them in a more relaxed mood and in those moments there you are, your natural self. Natural lighting is used to advantage, natural comfortable clothing recommended, and an easy frame of mind is the object at hand. This is a more journalistic style of photography, a long-honored tradition and these moments are golden moments, the most memorable.
Quick and Easy:
Prices start at a simple 1/2 hour indoor or outdoor session for $75. You will receive a disc with images taken that day. Limited basic editing and corrections are included. Additional time at $25 per half hour. Location of your choice or at home. Appropriate to capture quick images, headshots, prom pictures, event recording.
Basic Session
Prices start at $100 for a one hour session on location or at your home. This may include wardrobe change. Limited basic photo editing with additional editing available. Disc with images provided. Perfect for taking group photos, family, engagement photos, small parties, senior pictures, for portfolio.
For more extended session that would suit events :
Up to two hours on location or at your home. Prices range from $250 to $400. Photo Editing included and a disc is provided with proofs and edited images. Consultation on custom editing. Prints provided: 2-8x10 or 11x14 prints provided for select images. Unlimited number of photos taken. This may be best for family photos, reunions, special events, anniversaries, intimate weddings and ceremonies.
Recording events, the people, the friends and family cavorting, misbehaving and having those moments you never wish to forget. Prices start at $500 to $700 for four hours of shooting. All photos will be reviewed for editing and custom editing on select images. Unlimited number of photos taken. You will receive a disc with all images and 2-8x10, and 2-11x14 prints.
Photo editing charges begin at $25 per hour for the most common editing corrections: color correction, shadow correction, skin enhancement, basic retouching. Custom editing that requires complex photo editing is available for additional fee.
Discs provided - the artist maintains a copyright on the photography but will grant permission for printing images on the discs provided. All clients will be asked to allow the photographer permission to use any images for use on the website or in any other business promotional manner in exchange for the reproduction rights.
